Otto Roelen Medal

The Otto Roelen Medal will be awarded for an outstanding scientific achievement made in the field of catalysis. Named after the discoverer of hydroformylation Otto Roelen (1897-1993), this prize was initiated by Hoechst AG in 1997 and has since been awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of homogeneous catalysis.

Now the Otto Roelen Medal is donated by OQ chemicals. In 2010, for the first time nominations were invited internationally and for work in the whole field of catalysis research. Priority will be given to application-oriented research. The Medal is endowed with € 5,000.
